DigDog downloads your collection from Discogs and keeps it inside your own browser, on your own device. There is no DigDog account, and no copy of your collection on any server. The one thing DigDog does run on a server simply passes your requests along to Discogs — it stores nothing.

- How do I see how much my Discogs collection is worth?
- Connect your Discogs account, and once your collection has synced DigDog shows its value on the home page as a low, median and high figure. Those numbers are calculated by Discogs itself rather than by DigDog, so they match what your Discogs account reports.
- Can I get price alerts for my Discogs wantlist?
- You can set a target price on any wantlist item, and DigDog flags every item currently at or below its target whenever you open your wantlist. It does not send email or push notifications: there is no server holding your wantlist to send them from, so the flags are something you check rather than something that interrupts you.
- Is my collection data private?
- Yes. Your collection is stored inside your own browser, on your own device, rather than on a DigDog server. There is no DigDog account, and no copy of your collection anywhere else: the one part of DigDog that runs on a server simply passes your requests along to Discogs and stores nothing. Notes and target prices you add stay in your browser too.
- Is DigDog free?
- Yes, and there are no paid tiers. You need a free Discogs account, which is what you sign in with — there is no separate DigDog account to create.
